Back in summer 2008, i finally decided to upgrade my 27" CRT television to an hdtv. I was looking for an HDTV that was small but not too small, on ebay i had found the Vizio VW26L 26" HDTV. The price was really good, but it was refurbished so i had to make research on the reviews of the television and also research on buying refurbished Lcd tv's.
After making my research for about 2 days, i finally decided to buy the television. Fast forward one week and the television arrived at my door step, it was in very good condition for a refurbished television. So anyways i unpack it and took it out the box, i prepared the table and placed it but it had taken me 5 Hours to set up!. But it wasnt because the tv was hard to setup, it was just that i had so many devices to connect to it.
Well after i was done plugging everthing in, i finally got to test it. I Decided to test it out with my Xbox 360 first since its HD, and i got to say my video games look stunning on the tv. Then i tested the movies and my direct tv on the television, i have to say that i got a really good deal everything just looked great.
The tv is really good, i mean its great. But this tv is missing features that other HDTV's might have, like picture in picture but most people dont really need that you cant expect much from a budget Lcd HdTv. This television has some angles that make the colors look very dark, so if you sit on the floor you wont expect to see very good. But when looking straight at it, it looks awesome.
The Vizio VW26L is a very good buy for those who want an HDTV but dont want to shell out thousands of dollars for one. It has its flaws but this is a very good television for the price, you cannot miss out on this television.
