Like many people I avoid going to the dentist were possible, however I have a tooth a the back of my mouth that does tend to cause me quite a lot of bother, I have had pain in this tooth on several occassions over the past few months and have still avoided the dentist, instead I just take pain killers. Having used Ibuprofen before I popped into Tesco to buy some as I could feel a toothache coming on.

I seen the tablets, picked them up and off to the counter I went, when the shop assistant said "that'll be 31p please" I give him a strange look, paid for the tablets and left the shop quite pleased, once I got home I realised these were the Tesco brand of Ibuprofen, I couldn't help but wonder whether they would work as they were so cheap.

The tablets come in a silver colored box, with both the Tesco and Ibuprofen logo on the front, below these logos it tells me that these are 200mg tablets for effective pain relief, the box contains 16 tablets and are suited to rheumatic or muscular pain, backache, neuralgia, nerve pain, migraine, headache, toothache, period pains, fever and colds or flu symptoms. They are suitable for children over the age off 12 years old.

The tablets are white in colour and should be swallowed with a glass of water, they are quite small and are easy enough to swallow, there is a slight sweet taste of the tablet anyway after about a half an hour after taking these tablets did begin to ease the pain, to my surprise I really didn't expect them to work. They eased the pain for around 6 hours or so then I was ready to take another tablet. By the following day I had basically no pain at all, I have a few of these pain killers left and am keeping them for the next time I have a toothache, they are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended
