Say what you want about America, but five bucks doesn't get you much. But it did get me these flannel pants I'm wearing right now.

The real litmus test is: were these worth a five-spot?

You can find them at various drugstores and possibly Wal-Mart. In fact, I guarantee Wal-Mart has crates of them selling for a two bucks. Dang!

These Pakistani-made pajamas seem durable, and seem to last after multiple washings.

These pajamas are 100 percent cotton, and as they say cotton is supposed to be soft. These are effective enough, but be sure to wear some underwear. Those going commando will experience chafing. Those going a'la mode... I have no idea what you do in your bedroom.

The softness of this cotton pales to brand-name pajama bottoms. Then again, these were five bucks -- what did you expect?

Are they warm? So-so. The fabric is moderate weight, but don't expect to snuggle up in them.

Are they fashionable? This the plaid your momma loves. So, no.

Do they fit? If they won't fit immediately, they will if you use the cheap rope drawstring. These flannel lounge pajamas are on the baggy side.

Are they worth the five bucks? Seems like it. I just can't see myself lounging in them with guests.
