50 First Dates is a movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore that is a romantic comedy set in Hawaii. In it, Sandler plays a character is is a womaniser and is always on the prowl. He then meets Barrymore, a waitress at a diner, who has no short term memory after she goes to bed each night. The reason for the memory loss is a car accident several years ago, and she thinks that it is the day after her car wreck, so everyone in her life helps keep her thinking that no time has passed. When Sandler meets her, he asks her out on a date, and while she's getting ready, her father and brother inform him of her problem, and say that if he talks to Barrymore the following day, to pretend that they'd never met. He ends up going on many first dates with Barrymore, and falls in love with her. He also convinces her father to break the truth to her, and has a very cute way of telling her what has happened in the time that has gone by without her knowlege. The movie also has performances by Rob Schneider and Sean Austin. It is a great romantic comedy and I would highly recomend it to anyone who likes Sandler's movies.
