Before we discover Splash Island Resort, our family and my wife's sisters families go for an annual summer get together at 8 Waves Waterpark & Hotel. It is situated in San Rafael, Bulacan and could take us around one and a half hour trip. The entrance fees are only 60% of Splash Island Resort but you need to pay for the cottage of your choice. There are several types of cottages, open and locked ones.
The waterpark offers several pools for kids, adult and pro. There is one big and wide wave pool to entertain the customers with its big artificial waves. The kiddie pool has a Noah's Ark in the center and several mushroom shelters. The pools for adults have shallow and deep ones to choose from. The place is big and neat actually.
It has also an adjacent hotel to cater visitors who will be staying in days to enjoy not only the waterpark but the city and for those who wants to go overnight. The things I dislike with 8 Waves are that one although they have some concessionaires inside the place (no food allowed inside) but it is quite pricey and the second one is that they do not have slides and rides. For me meeting your customers' needs on food, safety, convenience and adventure must meet together to make the day.
