My husband owns a couple of cats, and he likes to feed them 9 Lives canned cat food. He usually gets the 4 pack. They did go up in price somewhat, but even with the increase they still are a relatively good buy.
His cats seem to enjoy this food very much. It comes in several different flavors, one of them being tender slices with real beef in gravy, and those cats just go to town on it. The cans have a pull tab top, and it's really convenient for my husband to get the pack of four cans. They are sold individually as well.
As far as nutrition is concerned, I'm not an expert on cat food. The cats are healthy, so I imagine they are getting the nutrition they need. And with every purchase of this food, you are helping to rescue cats, which is a nice thing, too.
All in all, I would say that 9 Lives is pretty decent food for cats. My husband's pets seem to enjoy it very much, and that says a lot about the flavor of the food. And I don't feel that it is very expensive for four cans, even though Walmart did increase the price somewhat.
