In the words of my sister when she gave me this as a present for Christmas this year, the Snoopy Sno-cone machine is truly a blast from my past. I remember being a kid and getting this from my parents. My sister and I would stick ice in the top and grind away but like all other toys the excitement wore off quickly.
This time around, we did the same thing. Opened the box and made sno-cones just like when we were kids. The sno-cone machine is a great toy to have around but its not very easy to use. First, the machine comes already assembled except for the handle on the back that you use to grind ice. With it comes a snow pusher with Snoopy on the top, a little shovel to scoop out the ice that gets stuck in the grinder, a little squirt bottle for any type of syrup you want to use, Fla-vor Aid syrup, and three little cups for your crushed ice.
When you first assemble the handle it took me a few minutes to figure out how it goes. Once I did figure it out, it took me about thirty minutes to put the handle on and then have someone to help me with it. Once we put the handle on, it took two of us to get anything out of the machine... that is one to turn the handle and the other to hold the machine down to keep it from sliding and also pushing down the ice pusher at the top. The handle kept falling out at about every three or four turns. The syrup that they give you isn't very tasty but that can easily be fixed by getting what you would like to use.
All in all it's not really worth it to spend the money for one of these but I still found it very fun nd tryly a blast from my past. It certainly was given to me to mean something and it does.
