My husband has been happily buying books for the baby since the day he found out I was pregnant. My little guy already has an extensive library and we still have 3 months to go until he is born.
My husband picked up a copy of The Cat in The Hat at ollie's Bargain Outlet for less than $3. We agreed that since we both grew up reading Dr. Suess books it was only fair to share the joy of Dr. Suess with our child.
My husband and I also both have pretty high hopes for our son to begin reading at a young age, we have seen the infomercial for Your baby can read so many times... we are sold on it already!
The Cat in The hat is not only a fun book for kids to read but it is also fun for adults too. The illuistrations are cute and the story is timeless.
My husband has already read this book to my belly and he can't wait to start reading to his son. We are both avid readers so we really hope to pass that along to our son.
This book has 61 pages, but it is short enough to keep a child occupied without boring them. I remember this being one of my favorites when I was little.
What would childhood be without Dr. Suess? If you haven't read this book to your kids I would recommend this one, it is cute, it is fun and it is timeless!
