This is a movie by Disney and Pixar, and while I have loved almost all of their movies together, this one fell a little short for me. I felt like I had seen the story before; the characters in the movie look just like the ones from the Max Lucado's books and movies, and so I felt like it wasn't too original.
This movie is rated G, and runs about 95 minutes. I feel like the movie could have been rated PG because there is some mild violence, and one of the characters, Hopper, could be a little intense for little ones.
The voices in this movie were well done, but again, seemed familiar for some reason. There were some characters that were very lovable, like Heimlich, but the plot itself was pretty forgettable.
Bonus features include games, character animations, short film by Pixar, deleted scenes, and outtakes. To tell you the truth, the bonus features may be better than the actual movie for this one. I would say borrow this movie if you want to see it, but pass it if you see it on your local store shelf to purchase.
