My first thought was a resounding "wow" when I saw this and realized it's 16 Gigabytes in a little postage-stamp sized SD card. Then I thought how many photos on max settings with my 8MP Point & Shoot camera I can take, and over 2 hours of video at 30FPS and 640x480 resolution.
Apparently, I'm not the only one who recognized the nice price drop these cards are getting. I luckily found this for under a hundred dollars, and that's pretty good considering 8GB cards are still hovering around 50. The A-DATA might be the exception though, as other brands 16GB SDHC cards are still well above $100 depending where you look.
One gripe I do have though is the transfer speed with these Class 6 cards. It's really not fitting with the capacity. Regular SD cards actually transfer faster (the 4GB or less ones). These newer SDHC aka SD 2.0 cards that range from 4 to 16GB should really have a better transfer speed.
But, that's not enough to keep me from using it. Can't be too picky I suppose when you have all of that storage on that oh so little space.
