I really like this bag. It has a cool, relaxed, slouchy shape. Some people think brown and black don't match or they look awkward together. They say never do it. This is a classic example that rules are made to be broken.
This was a hand-me-down from a relative. I'm very grateful I received it. If I was not given this pre-loved purse, I probably would not have heard of this designer.
It is made in Italy and is manufactured from genuine leather. The leather is really glossy and smooth.
It has gold hardware, but on some of the areas, it looks like the gold wore off.
On those parts, it looks more silver. I'm not sure how old the bag is, since it was given to me. The places where the gold stayed the best are the zippers and the buckle. The places where the gold has worn away most are on the zipper pulls and the hoop-style pieces of hardware.
Dimensions: 10 1/2" height, 12.25" width across front when lying flat and 4" width of the side with 2 zippers. To the middle of the strap is 15". There are two zippers on the side which lead to one conjoining pocket. There is a main zippered compartment on the top which is very roomy for medium-sized pocketbook. Inside the main compartment, there is a mini pocket that I keep change and my keys in.
I like that there are 5 pegs on the bottom. Those definitely help protect the leather from getting damaged. I also really like the logo-heavy lining. It's a nice touch.
