When we were married, my hubby and I were confused whether to purchase a digital or manual washing machine. My mom told us that the digital one was easily broken, because one friend of hers had experienced that. And so we decided to purchase the manual one, Sanken TW 7155 sakura series. It's a top loading machine and it's green, my hubby's favorite color. It has twin tub washer (one for the washer and the another for dryer), and features the x-tor pulsator technology and rust proof. Unlike my old washing machine, the inside of the washer tub has some kind of sophisticated spin, with water level indicator/select, small plastic filter, and four small holes surrounding the tub where water splash when we wash clothes. Sanken claims that the x-tor pulsator technology will make the laundry cleaner from stains and dirt. Also there's a water inlet at the top of it along with the buttons for operating the machine:

1. Wash timer, enables us to choose how long we need to wash the laundry. We can choose between 1-15 minutes.

2. Wash Drain select, a selection of how we would like the spin to move. Available options: Delicate or Heavy. Also included in this option is Drain.

3. Drying Spin timer, this is the timer button for operating the dryer. Available from 1-5 minutes.

The weight capacity of this machine is 7.5 kgs; I found it no problems to wash bedsheets and blankets, even small bedcovers. Although it's spacious, this machine has done a very tremendous work for us til now and we're very satisfied with it. When we purchased it, we have a discounted price of $95. It's pretty cheap. Glad that we make a good choice.
