Wow! I can't say enough about how great Joico K-Pak Reconstructor is. The first thing I noticed about it was the awesome scent. It smells like banana bread! If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, don't fret: the scent (unfortunately for me) doesn't last long after it's in the hair. I applied the Reconstructor (a dollop about the size of a quarter for my medium-length hair) to my hair when it was still damp. I should mention that this is not the suggested product use--it is meant to be rinsed out after five minutes--but for my particularly parched hair, I decided to use it as a leave-in. Once it was distributed evenly, I blew my hair dry and straightened it with a flat iron. When I was finished styling, I noticed a HUGE difference in the texture and appearance of my hair. It was incredibly soft and silky, not at all dry like it usually is. The ends of my hair, which before using the K-Pak looked like they were begging for a trim, looked smooth and sleek. What shocked me was how the results lasted. When I woke up the day after using the K-Pak, my hair was still soft and silky. I barely even needed to brush my hair when I went out for the day, and I definitely didn't need to restyle. This is a product I'll be using for life.

The only negative things I have to say about K-Pak Reconstructor are the price (at $24.99 for 8.5 ounces, it is an expensive product) and the texture (it needs to be shaken up before use to smooth it out).
