I bought a Camcorder and of course needed a safe way of traveling with it. I make a lot of trips to Florida from Indiana with a dachshund so I defenatly wanted a safe way to travel with my camcorder so it would not be damaged. I went to Walmart and looked at many cases. Most of them were too small for what I would need them for (mainly Disney World trips). I needed something that could carry a lot yet not weigh me down.

I found the Targus case. It was a great price and a nice size (7.75" x 4.25" x 7.5"). It is very well padded on the inside also. There are adjustable comparments in the interior. I have them so they make 3 seperate comparments. One larger one (for my camera) and two smaller ones about the same size (one for Mini DV tapes and one for batteries and power adaptor). There is a front zipped compartment to store things in (I use it for cables, USB ect..). One thing about the front compartment is if you put really thick items in it or too many items in it then the top flap will not latch over top of it. There are two side zipper compartments. One has a water bottle net that can be pulled out to carry a water bottle in. When your ot usin it it zips nicely back into the compartment.

There is a hand strap on the top and it also came with a should strap that can be clipped on or off depending on if you need it or not. The should pad on the shoulder strap has a nonskid side to it to keep it in place on your shoulder. I walked around Disney World for a full day and never once was choked by the shoulder strap. The Exterior is made from Nylon and the bottom has a tough rubbery/plastic layer so the whole case is water proof.

On a resent trip to Disney World this case worked just as I had imagined it would when I viewed it in the store. I was able to protect my camcorder from the amuzment park bumps and crowds plus it held everything I needed for the day (extra batteries, extra Mini DV tapes, my wallet, sunscreen lotion, and medication I would need (such as Advil and my parents blood pressure medication) and of course the camera).

Over all this is a great case for someone who is active with their camera and perfect for vacations. It's a very reasonable price and you can fit the nesessities for a day in it easily. I'm very happy with choosing this case for my camcorder.
