The mouse is a very important piece of PC equipment to me. As I'm a heavy gamer and a person who only uses the keyboard to type (and not bothered with all the keyboard shortcuts), losing a mouse is like losing a limb. Therefore, before my old roller-ball mouse broke down, I had to find a good replacement for it.

After long hours of searching (and trying to be stingy), I finally found the mouse of my dreams. It is called the E-View EV-034 mouse.

The first thing that attracted me to this mouse was the fact that the roller has a little blue light coming out of it (yes I'm a kid sometimes). It's small, and fits perfectly in my hands. Actually my hands are much larger than the mouse so I can move it around easily without having to stretch my fingers to grip it. This reduces a lot of pain when moving the mouse,

Next is the sensitivity. As it is an optical mouse, cursor on the screen moves as fast as the movement of the mouse. The mouse itself can be used on any surface (except glass) and still yield the same sensitivity. The mouse buttons are very responsive and quite durable too. I've never had any problems of the mouse keys getting jammed (happens a lot when you're playing a game which requires a lot of mouse clicks).

The best feature about this mouse is the fact that it comes with a USB-PS/2 converting jack. I have an old PC and its really annoying because there are only 2 USB ports that I use for my removable storage devices. With this, I can use the mouse with the PS/2 port. And the speed still remains the same. The mouse comes at a price of $6 and is well worth the money I spent on it.
