While in my local Tesco Express I noticed they had a few offers on in the biscuit section, thats when I came across these cadbury Mint Crisp after dinner bites which I couldn't resist, they were on offer at £1.56 for a box of 15, the original price is £2.08 which I think is really too expensive The box has the Cadbury's logo on and a picture of these lovely chocolate mint bites, they look delicious.
Once inside the box there are 15 small chocolate bites in a tray covered with a plastic seal, when I tasted one of these after dinner bites I had to have more they were that nice, once I bit into it there was a smooth chocolate sponge, along with mint creme inside and this is covered in Cadbury milk chocolate as well as crisp pieces throughout the chocolate, the taste reminded me of After eights only nicer. Like I said there are 15 in a box and between two people these chocolate bites really dont last too long.
Each of the chocolate bites contains 50 calories, 4.9g of sugar, 2.6g of fat, 1.5 grams of saturates and 0.05g of salt. Some of the ingredients include 41% Milk chocolate, dried skimmed milk, vegtable fat, milk fat, salt and salted butter. Probably not a great treat to have all the time but like with everything else, moderation is fine.
Like I said I wouldn't have paid the full price for these as there is only 15 bites and they really are small, two bites and they are gone, but for the offer price I thought these mint chocolate bites were really nice and they were worth the price.
