This color came in BFTE's limited edition Halloween set of 5 colors. I love purple. It's my favorite color, in general, but more specifically, it's my favorite hue for eyeshadow. It looks so pretty on brown eyes. I've been experimenting with this lately mainly in the crease (The part of your eye above the lid). It is such a nice crease color on me! I have tried it on my eyelids as well. This is a unique shade to me. It is a purple with red sparkles. I don't own any other colors like it, though, I admit I do own a few violet shadows. This product has the ability to be applied either wet or dry. When I used it wet, the color showed much more intensely and the color stayed in place. When I used it dry, the pigmented moved around a lot and became blurred. I found it much more appropriate for day when it was dry. It gave my eyelids a sheer plum look. You could still see the sparkles, but it was much more subdued than when applied wet. I like the color best wet since you really see the pigmentation. I'd wear it this way at night or if I'm feeling more daring.
In the gallery, the first picture is of the color in the baggie. It was taken by a window with a flash. It looks bluer in this picture than it does in real-life. The second picture is of the product swatched on my wrist. The first swatch, on the left, was applied dry. The swatch on the right was applied wet. This picture was taken under overhead light. I find these to be more accurate to what the shade looks like.
