Sometimes when I really want to relax, I'll soak in the bath. Most of us are so busy these days, that a tub bath is a real luxury. But a hot bath soothes tired muscles, and makes you feel sleepy at night. In the past, I used the terry-cloth covered bath pillows, with the suction cups on the back, to rest my head on. They were pretty comfortable, but of course, the terry-cloth gets soaked, and before too long shows stains. Then you have to remove the cover, and wash it often. This gets old after awhile.

One day, while shopping at TJ Maxx, I noticed a different kind of bath pillow. It was a plastic lined, non-absorbent pillow, with an EVA covering. This covering was not made of cloth, and it has held up amazingly well. It always looks fresh, and inviting, doesn't stain, and is easy to wash off in the shower. The instructions even say that it is machine washable, if desired. It also is anti-microbial and latex free! I usually attach it by the suction cups, just above the edge of the tub, on the shower enclosure, and it stays put for as long as needed, without slipping.

Some good music, a few scented candles, and this terrific pillow make bath time pleasant.
