A Pink Pocket Calendar

Don't tell my husband, but I found a pocket calendar book in Target, that I like better than the one he gave me as a stocking stuffer. It's got a pink leatherette checkbook type cover, and it's a lot more feminine than the other one. (And you know me...I'm a girly girl!) It is a 2 year calendar from January 2009 through December 2010 (just like the one he gave me.)

It has a "Quick Reference" page for emergency numbers and contacts, a "Yearly Overview" page, several pages for addresses, phone numbers and emails, and lots of places for notes. (It's not a daytimer--just a pocket calendar.)

One thing that I don't like about it, is the way it scrunches up the Saturday and Sunday calendar boxes, at the end of the row (as if no one has weekend appointments.) Of course, many of us do. The pages have butterflies and flowers very lightly in the background, in shades of pink and purple. It's quite colorful and happy feeling.

Let's face it--the only reason I really like it more is that it's pink and pretty! (The other one has a fall scene on the front, and is the type that I generally use every year.) Maybe I'll find a use for both of them!
