Robert Deniro and Al Pacino are back together again for their third movie together! I am such a huge fan of both actors. I had never heard of this movie and just happened to see it for rent at my local Redbox. I enjoyed it. The story is about two aging NYPD detectives, Turk (Deniro) and Rooster (Pacino). They both have issues. They are also on the trail of trying to find a serial killer, who is getting rid of bad guys who should already be in jail. The duo start working with two younger detectives Perez (John Leguizamon) and Riley (Donnie Wahlberg). Turk and Rooster are not friends with the young guys, especially since Turk is dating Perez's ex. The story line was good. The acting was A+ as expected. The rapper 50 cent aka Curtis Jackson also plays a role in this film and suprisingly he was not bad. The movie kept my attention and the storyline flowed smoothly. I did think the audio aspect of the movie could have been worked out a little better. At times they are yelling and it just sounds like a big mess you can not distinguish what is being said. Overall though I would recommend this movie.
**This movie is rated "R" for a reasons including cursing, violence, nudity, sex and drugs.
