I used to use my laptop primarily in bed. Lately, I've been sitting at my desk. A novel idea, right? Since doing this, I feel somewhat better posture-wise. An issue did pop up since doing this. My desk is in the shape of an "L." When I'm typing, one of my elbows is usually not on the desk, but the other one is. My desk is quite hard and that elbow gets really irritated and sore.
I explained the problem to my mom, and she asked me if I wanted her ergoBeads cushion to use under my elbow. She was using it directly under her wrist for when she used her trackball mouse. She told me that she stopped using it as much, and I was welcome to take it. I've been using it everyday. It is seriously saving my elbow.
It looks and feels just like a mini beanbag. It is soft and squishy with lots of little pellets inside. It provides a lot of cushion and comfort. Sometimes, the pressure from my elbow causes the pellets to spread out too much. When that happens, I need to reposition it. Although that occurs, this is still the best solution I've found and I'm thankful to have it.
