I like brands that sell pants that come in various lengths like short, regular and long. For me, it really helps cut down the amount of shopping and try on time I have to do. With short lengths, I don't have to get my pants hemmed, which is a major plus from a cost and time standpoint.
I bought these in April on Ebay. Before I moved, I lived by Express stores, but now there are none close to me. Also, I don't want to pay the retail price for their jeans. They're not obscenely high priced, but I know that on Ebay you can find them at a real discount.
I found this one auction selling my size and the starting price was $0.99. I bid on it. I thought, "How great would it be to get new jeans for $5.99 total?" Express jeans prices vary, but I'm estimating the retail value of these at $49.50. I ended up winning at my original bid and received the jeans soon after.
These jeans are a nice medium blue. There aren't any embellishments or excessive whiskering. There are a couple really faded subtle ones right by the pockets. The denim is soft, but strong. They are made out of 85% cotton, 14% polyester and 1% lycra spandex, so there's a bit of stretch to them.
I like these a lot. These are currently the jeans I wear most. I have an opinion on the fit of Express jeans. I think that they run small, so if you are a size 2, you will most likely find a size 4 more comfortable than a 2. Of course, this depends on your body type though, and it's best to try on at a store to see what you think.
