I always get headaches but if I can help it I don't want to take any oral pain killers because of its effects on the kidneys.

So I would use alternative medication, such as the Jap-stick Embrocation. What's different with Jap-stick is that it comes in a stick, unlike other oil embrocations. Although there is another brand called the Menthol Stick, I prefer this because the embrocation stick is inserted in a tube. As you use the stick, you just have to push it up the tube and let a small portion out. This tube protects the stick from getting broken especially when I would accidentally drop it.

It is also small so that it can fit in my pocket and bag without making these bulky.

It smells good, too, unlike the oils that smell awful. Jap-stick's smell is refreshing menthol. It is not annoying to the person sitting beside you.

I bring it along with me, especially if I ride a jeepney. Whenever I smell foul odors, I just rub it on my temples and I feel better. I also use it when I am nauseated or to keep the itch away from insect bites.

This is a very cheap embrocation stick that lasts a long time.
