I received two samples, one "For Him" and one "For Her". "For Her", I received the scent, Lady Braithwaite. This intrigued me. I had no idea what a woman with such a name would smell like.

I opened up the pill box-style sample and I really liked the scent. It's really sweet, exotic and spicy. Lady Braithwaite is described as a blend of gardenia, rose and lily mixed with woods, which is their version of the Kimora Lee Simmons perfume, Goddess. The aroma of these creams is very, very potent, like a perfume, not like a typical body cream. They sort of remind me of solid perfumes, but in a creamy, soft base.

On the paper, it says it can be applied to pulse points. I think that's a great idea. So far, I've been using it as a hand cream, but I would definitely consider applying it in such a way. The cream feels great. It is greaseless and softening. This soybean-based moisturizer has Vitamin E in it to heal and soothe and cyclomethicone for glide and its silky properties. The emollients are described as hypo-allergenic.

The masculine scent I received was Bay Port. I smell strong pine and mossy notes and warm hints of spice. I could see a man liking this. According to their site, Bay Port is a combo of cinnamon, clove, pine and orange, so I wasn't far off.

The company has tons of fragrance options. I'm interested in trying a Sachet Cream in Nag Champa next since I love Nag Champa incense. There are also a few others that jump out at me as very appealing, like Santa's Cookies, Cluttered Pantry, Fresh Linen and Wild Orchid.
