Even though I live in Florida, and rarely have need of winter accessories, I still need to stock up on warm clothing for when I travel. Later this year, we will be traveling to Oregon on a business trip, and we're planning on staying a little longer to check out the mountains, waterfalls, coast, and rivers. So I knew that I would certainly need warmer clothes than are required in Northwest Florida.
I found this gorgeous burgundy velvet scarf/muffler on sale at Bealls Outlet. It seems like I warm up a lot faster if my neck stays warm. One side is a velvet material made of 80% Rayon and 20% Nylon, and the other side has an almost satin look, though it says that it is 100% Polyester. While the scarf needs to be dry cleaned, it's not all that often that it would need laundering.
It retails for $15.00, but it was on sale for $5.99. And I actually got even more off, because it had a green dot. Unfortunately, I can't remember how much more of a discount I got with that. (Much more, and they would be paying me to buy it!)
I'm sure that I will enjoy wearing this cozy scarf, that will shield my neck from the cold wind.
