Acer Aspire 3050 1150
Reviewing: Acer Aspire 3050 1150 | Rating:My girlfriend and I share this laptop and being a computer geek, I'm not super impressed. Then again, I have high expectations when it comes to computer equipment.

For my girlfriend, who basically uses it for email, MySpace, FaceBook, and nothing too processor or RAM demanding, this computer is a pretty nice bargain. But for me, it's sort of cutting it close. I generally use a lot of MacroMedia and Adobe software and those programs use up a lot of memory. Although this laptop can pull it off, I would feel more comfortable knowing that I can run even more programs without noticing a slow down.
Additionally, the laptop comes with the basic version of Windows Vista and you are given option of upgrading it to a better version for a little bit of money.
Physically, the laptop isn't very heavy, and it has got a decent size screen that is nice and clear. It comes as a nice dark color, which is generally traditional for computers. One thing I have to warn people about is the battery. It is awful. It died out after 2 months of use. So beaware of that.
