We needed a new computer because our old one died. We need one fast because of my husbands business and my websites. We wanted the best that we could get for our dollar. Even though we were able to use it as a business right off for my husband.

We found one for $699.99. This included the tower, keyboard, speakers and the windows program.

The whole system is and acer. The tower is great. We have many slots for a lot of things and still trying to figure out some of them. I do like that it has 6 UBS ports as I don't have to unplug any to add my photos from my digital camera, like I did with our old computer. It has some of the plug ins at the back and a few at the front. Which is great for convenience. It has a sliding cover that covers the plug sockets at the front. The only thing that I don't like about the tower is that the off and on button is to close to the UBS plugs on the front and I almost always end up hitting it. But that is it for the negative. This comes with 4200+ AMD Athlon 64x2 Processor, 2GB, DDR2 Memory, 250 GB Sata hard drive, DVD-Dual Drive and a 9-in-1 card reader.

The keyboard is nothing fancy. The keys press nicely. The one thing I hate is my son has found the sleep bottom on this and shuts it down before i have a chance to stop him. The other thing is the keyboard does like to which from Canadian french to US sometimes. I have yet to figure out why.

I like the acer mouse because it has a scroll wheel on it. This makes it easier to scroll Internet pages. Much easier than using the scrolls on the side of the pages. With this on the mouse you can just click the page and scroll the wheel on the mouse. I also like the cool red light that is on the side of the mouse.

Even though this computer cost $699.99 we ended up paying $2100.00. Which was a great deal because a flat monitor, extra speakers, in all in one printer and installation of Windows Vista Premium and because we got all that They through in a free anti virus, a USB Data Transfer, 100 recordable dvd's lots of 5x7 photo paper and 8x10 photo paper.

So if you ask me this was a great deal for either the bundle or just the desktop. I can't see why anyone would be disappointed in an acer. I have not had any problems with it in the year that I have owned it. The only thing I can't comment on is how the speakers work as we have never used them because we purchased much larger speakers because we like loud music.
