Aeon Flux is a sci-fi film based on the same animated tv series created by Korean-American animator, Peter Chung. Charlize Theron plays the lead role as Aeon Flux. Directed by Karyn Kusama and was released in 2005.

Humanity was wiped out by a virus and only one percent of the Earth's population survived. Since then, survivors stayed in the walled huge city ruled by the their leader, Trevor Goodchild, and other group of scientists. To preserve and sustain life, they clone each all the survivor and kept the DNA which is store in a dirigible (airship) floating around Bregna, the name of the city.

Aeon Flux is a member of a rebel called "Monicans" and plans to assassinate the leader, Trevor Goodchild, but she find out her connection to Trevor because she was his cloned wife. Trevor's brother Oren Goodchild wants to keep and preserve the life at Bregna forever but Aeon Flux is determined that they suppose to live and die naturally.

I was amazed by the special effects of this film like the needle fruits, the spike grass and the marble bombs. The acting of the cast are executed well. This movie is much like the character of Alice in Resident Evil. Worth to watch overall.
