I was looking for a product that would relieve dry skin and clear my complexion. I went to one of the discount stores in my area and came across this product. The container read, "African Shea Butter". I was a little suspicious because it didn't come in traditional commercial packaging; also the consistancy appeared to be very different than previous brands I had tried. The sales person told me this was the natural form of shea butter without additives. I read the label, which claimed it was good for different types of skin ailments including dry skin and decided to give it a try. For one large container I paid $5.49; to me that was reasonable, I decided to purchase it.
I have been using this product for three months; and have found that is does relieve dry skin. I also notice that my skin is softer and clearer. This product can be used to treat eczema, dry skin, and minor burns. It can also be use as a sunscreen because it contains vitamin E and F. There are many other benefits related to this product; and I would recommend it to people that want a clearer complexion and relief from dry skin.
The only problem I found was the consistancy of the product. It was very hard; almost like lard. I had to scrape it from the container, and rub it in my hands until it softened. But it is a natural product without additives; so I think I can live with that small inconvenience.
