"Artificial Intelligence" is a science-fiction movie starring Haley Joel Osment and Jude Law. It is the future and we have created lifelike robots. The only problem is they don't have emotions. However, now one with emotion has been created (Osment) and he has been adopted by a family. When he is returned though, he does not know what to do. He was programmed for unconditional love, yet he was not given that in return. This movie is sort of like Pinocchio - it is the story of Osment trying to become or at least understand a "real boy."
Because of the actors in this movie, I really thought I would like it; however, in the four or five times I've tried to watch this movie, it has yet to hold my attention. I simply can not get into it. I'm not sure why, but I either go to sleep or just turn it off and watch something else. I've also tried to watch it with friends, and we still didn't get through it. We got sidetracked also. So personally, I do not recommend this film even though I know it's received rave reviews.
