My son was asking for one of those remote control airplanes. His birthday was coming up so me and his father decided to go to Target looking for one.
We decided to get him an Air Hog R/C Nano Hawk. What I liked about it is it was safe and lightweight to fly indoors. I thought it would be great and it was suppose to be easy to control.
My son was excited when it opened his present up. He wanted to start playing with it right away.
When we took it out of the box it felt really flimsy and I didn't know how it was stay together without breaking.
Everything started out great. He was having fun flying it around the house.
About 20 minutes into playing with it, the motor of the plane started sounding funny and would not fly up too high. We thought maybe it needed to be charged again, so we put it on the charge stand and waited.
When it was done charging my son tried it again and was disappointed to see it would not fly like it was at first any more. We were all disappointed in this remote control. I was with my son the whole time he was playing with this and he did nothing to break this.
It just stopped working after 20 minutes of play.
We packed it back in its box and took it back to Target for a refund. My son did not take a chance on another one and decided to get some Legos with his money instead.
Maybe we just got a bad model, but I can not recommend the Air Hogs R/C Nano Hawk.
