Airtronics is well known for making high quality Remote Control transmitters, the RD6000 Super is certainly a well made Radio System fitting in with the rest of their radio line. 72 MHz FM radio systems are a very common sight, in fact they are the standard, in Remote Control aviation so it isn't hard to figure out why Airtronics decided to make a budget priced 72 MHz FM system. They added all of the standard features that you would expect to see on a much higher priced radio system such as: An 8 model memory, 3 letter model names, digital trims and servo reversing on all channels, a stop watch and many others. This system comes with a 9.6 volt 600 milliamp battery and dual band 6 channel reciever. I've been using this radio in a T-34 made by Art Tech and although the transmitter speed is a bit sluggish compared to higher end radio systems it is surprisingly quick. The low voltage alarm built into the radio has saved me from losing my plane once or twice. Overall, it's a very worthwhile investment if you're just starting to get into R/C Airplanes.
