Alice in Chains had a ton of hits in the 90's. Though this band has not hit the classic rankings for a year or two yet, each song on the 'Greatest Hits' release is soon to be such. 'Man In The Box' is a cool, smooth rocker that tops the list on this great album/cd, followed by 'Them Bones'. These two are slower in nature than the next song.

The third song on this 'Greatest Hits' album/cd is my most favorite 'Alice in Chains' song. This song is about a fellow friend that died (I believe). "Haven't found a way to kill me yet'... is a powerful lyric in this great stereo blaster. "Here comes the rooster...You know he aint gonna' die"... is a powerful statement about the courage this friend faced in his death. This mighty hit song is worth hearing over, and over, and...

The #4 song 'Angry Chair' was anotrher great radio favorite when it was released into the world. This songs presence on the 'Greatest Hits' release is another reason to get this collectors item. Songs like this are a great prelude to songs such as 'Would', 'No Excuses', 'I Stay Away', and 'Grind', which are the next four in the line up. Each of these are radio favorites as well.

Another song that I am fond of as much as 'Rooster' is 'Heaven Beside You', the #9 song on this collectors favorite. I think that this is a beautiful song about the craziness inside each of us. I can relate to this one, because I do what I want to do, which itself is the subject of this song.

'Again' is the last song on this spectacular 'Greatest Hits' cd that is blasting as I write. I love writing these reviews to help you decide on the great ones to buy. I would suggest, that if you don't own this one, you should!
