My husband always had his Victorinox Swiss Army Knife way before we got married. I think that by now, he has that for the last 15 or so years. His piece is complete but small and compact--different sizes knives, scissors, corkscrew, can opener, toothpick, scissors and tweezers. And yeah, there is something that resembles like a Philips screwdriver and a magnifying glass.
When we were not yet married, he would bring it to our youth camps where we are together and I have seen him use it with whatever things and situations. It is very handy to take along.
Actually, I also had a pocket knife like that, but there were only two pieces in it--two different sizes of knives. It was cheaper but not durable and then I would have to lug around different kinds of stuff for our camp.
Not with the Swiss Army Knife. Even this time, all the parts are working fine. No rust because of the high quality stainless steel parts. The plastic that surrounds everything is also of good quality. I am not sure how much it costs by now, but when my father in law gave it to my husband, it costs around $40 then. It may be expensive but it is worth the investment.
Now that we are married, my husband uses it to tinker stuff around the room. He still brings it with him whenever we go camping and we still enjoy its many uses.
Even if you are not a camper, this is a handy tool to have around the house.
