The Radio Flyer Retro Rocket is one of those toys you wish they made for adults also. It is just "cool" anyway you look at it. From the retro-futuristic styling to the lights and rumble to the astronaut voice - it's all a homerun.
There is some minor assembly required - basically just attaching the rear wheels and hubcaps. There are three buttons on the control panel that light up when pressed and play several recorded speils - some trigger the vibrating rockets and blinking lights in the thruster. The seat lifts up for toy storage. Our son goes through phases of playing with it off and on but we can tell it is very durable and will see a lot of play as he grows.
The only slight issue is it doesn't have any sort of steering so the child has to scoot or lift the front to turn. This is probably due to safety/stability and other similar cars I've seen are the same way.
A fun toy you don't mind leaving out for others to see!
