My four year old daughter has special needs and attends physical therapy every week at a nearby agency. Immediately upon walking into this place, you think it is such a fun filled place because of all the neat toys and gadgets they have.
One particular gadget that caught not only my eye, but also my daughter's eye, was this AlleyOop Sports Rebounder. Essentially, it is a trampoline but it is a decked out trampoline!
This trampoline has a bar that the child or adult can hold onto for better balance. The bar is optional, however! This is a great feature for my daughter since she has low muscle tone which contributes to her balance issues.
The tension can also be adjusted so you can have lots of bounce or just a little bounce. One of the best features of this trampoline is that it actually folds up! I have never seen a trampoline that folds up.
I did research these online at http://www.jumpsport.com/pr-Trampolines-Rebound.htm and they are a bit pricey, but the quality is unbeatable! My daughter loves this trampoline. It allows her to have fun, be a child, and forget the fact that she has a disabilty.
