I received a bottle of philosophy, amazing grace fragrance from a trade I did with a friend on a message board.
The size of the perfume is a .07 fl oz glass vial with a black sprayer and a black cap. It is made out of hard glass and is a small size which make it suitable for throwing in a purse.
The scent is a clean scent. I think it is more of a daytime perfume. The notes of amazing grace are described as a blend of floral blossoms mixed with light musk. It reminds me of fresh laundry dried on the line.
It definitely smells good, but if I was picking a scent, I'm not sure if I would have picked it. Yet the longer I have it on me and the more I sniff it, the more I like it! It's weird how that works.
I wanted to test the longevity of the scent, so I sprayed on the perfume (1 spray spritzed at the wrist and dabbed on my neck) at 11:05 AM this morning (7/8/09). The scent stayed strong for a while, but when I checked it 4:15 PM, I noticed that the smell had grown much less powerful. You can hardly smell it at all. So, it has a lasting time of about 5 hours or so. Honestly, I'm not sure if that is the status quo, or if that is lacking in staying power.
I'm not heartbroken over 5 hours worth of fragrance. I'd say if a perfume ran out of steam in 2 hours, I would be disappointed. Ideally, I would want my perfume to last all day though. That being said, I am off to reapply it. I miss sniffing my wrist and smelling that laundry-fresh scent!
