"America's Sweethearts is a great movie starring Julia Roberts, Billy Crystal, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and John Cusak. It is the story of a celebrity couple (Jones and Cusak) who star in movies together and are married. the public loves them. However, they end up separating and filing for divorce. They have one last movie though, and it is up to two friends/employees to get them to calm down and pull off the movie premier. However, the premier weekend does not go as anyone expects as a new couple emerges out of this and the celebrity couple is to never be again.
I love this movie. I can remember the first time I watched it. It successfully kept my attention and I was shocked at the plot turn. I was not prepared for the new couple that ends up together. This is a great chick-flick that I pull out every time female friends or family come over that haven't seen it. It is a great solid movie. The special features, however, are not worth mentioning really. They are just regular common features such as deleted scenes and theatrical trailers.
The movie is rated PG-13, and probably isn't even suitable for young teens as it does have inappropriate language, sexual content, and some crude and sexual humor.
