This beautiful Wolf wall hanging from Deck the Walls is 41 x 33 inches. It is a large heavy piece of art. The name of the piece is called Indigo. It's a print by Dave Merrick. It hangs over our fireplace and serves to remind my husband and me of our first purchase together. We found this beauty at Deck the Walls in our local Mall.
The piece we bought was the display. Not one store in San Antonio had any left in stock. When the clerk pulled it off the wall we noticed it was warped and there were some minor scratches on the top corner. The original price marked was $175.00 we talked him into knocking off $50.00 for the scratches. The minor warp we could live with, but the scratches, even though no one would ever notice them, were unforgivable. The clerk agreed, we paid, and he cleaned our art to be wrapped.
To our, and especially the clerk's, surprise the scratches came off when he wiped down our Indigo wolf. We were ecstatic. The clerk wished he had cleaned it first. We reminded him of the warping and we left quickly.
Since we've had this piece the warping has hung out to the point we can't even remember which corner was warped. I love this piece so much I look for others that will compliment it. All the better, if Dave Merrick did it.
This piece is timeless for us. I don't think we'll ever take Indigo down or change where it hangs. It's one of those pieces that just feels right where it‘s at.
