After reading Carrot Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke I made a stop at my local library to seek out other titles in the Hannah Swenson series. I picked up Sugar Cookie Murder to help me get in the spirit for the holidays.

This is another entertaining and adorable book by Joanne Fluke. It is set at Christmas and of course there is a murder which good ole Hannah solves while one of her love interests investigates also.

What I like about this book is that it is a quick and entertaining read, but honestly it is not at all challenging, which can be a good thing sometimes. It is filled with recipes and the characters are all endearing.

I am a fan of this series after reading two of the books by Joanne Fluke. I love that the main character, Hannah is an every day woman, not a goddess or a super woman, she seems like someone you would meet in real life, she has issues with frizzy hair, her weight, her mother, and so on. That is the main thing I like about this series, you can kinda relate to this woman.

I will certainly be looking for other Hannah Swenson books by Joanne Fluke and I would recommend this series to anyone who likes a mystery, recipes and a relaxing read!
