The Apple iPod Touch has a 16 GB storage ability. It is designed to be the same as the Apple iPhone, except it does not have the phone features. It has the ability to play music, videos and connect to the internet via WiFi connection.
The iPod Touch is very easy to use. It has a touch screen and everything is very intuitive. To access your music files, you simply touch the music icon. A really neat feature of the touch is the ability to turn the unit on its side and view things in landscape mode. I also like the fact that you can view album covers and scroll through them.
As an MP3 player, the thing is great as well as viewing movies or videos. The screen is crystal clear, but a bit small. My main problem with the touch is its WiFi capabilities. It is next to impossible to connect to even free, unprotected WiFi networks. I was told this is an "Apple thing." Because of this, the whole internet access thing is pretty useless.
The earbuds that come with the touch are also very uncomfortable. I need to purcahse new ones.
If you are looking for the absolute latest in MP3 player techonology, the iPod Touch delivers. Hopefully Apple will work out the bugs and it will be a flawless creation.
