I ended up owning this after my Creative Zen Touch 40Gb finally died on me; I'd had bad experiences with their customer support since buying it (with a completely different product mind), and I was damned if I was going to buy anything else from Creative. So, I naturally decided to try the competition.
I wish I'd done this this two years ago. It does everything the Zen did, and while it doesn't have the battery life, it at least charges when it's connected to a USB port. When the Zen was connected to a PC, the battery drained in perhaps an hour.
Sizewise, it's superb, weighing in actually twice as big as my actual desktop hardrive; this means it tends to get used as an external hard-drive as much as an MP3 player.
What can I say? It's an iPod. You may have heard of them, they're kinda popular. I'd recommend getting one.
