The Apple Studio Display is a great monitor. Colors are vivid and bright. A great feature is that the screen connector that plugs itself into your video card also supplies power to the monitor, which means that you only have 1 wire to connect. On the front panel are two simple, almost hidden buttons, one that puts the computer to sleep and another that opens up System Preferences, Monitor panel. That's it; Apple has come once again with a sweet, simple look.
However, resolution with the screen only goes up to 1024x768; I would certainly have preferred seeing it go a notch or two higher. Also, there is no way to turn the screen off, except by putting a one minute inactivity timer, which is quite frustrating as my computer is in my bedroom, and I keep my computer open when I go to sleep. Apart from that, the Apple Studio is a great monitor and I recommend it, whether you're an Apple fan or not.
