'Al-Oud' is a pefume manufactured in the U.A.E and Mecca city.
When i visited Mecca two yeas back for pilgimage with my family I decided to visit Bin-Dawood's, a massive superstore that has branches in most of the Arabian countries that i know of.
since, I purchase most of my perfumes fom Arabia this time I opted for Al- Oud as i could n't resist its fragnance as well as the unique shaped bottle that looked so sophisticated and appealing in the showcase.
For $30 I got a medium sized bottle which is so lasting that I still possess it and use it only on special occasions.
Al-Oud is sold in various forms and you can easily find it in Africa too.
The perfume is in a form of an oily substance which arabs use more than often especially when it comes to Arabian brides. In Africa this perfume is known as the 'Bridal perfume' as it's used my majority of brides.
The scent is so mesmerizing that just a drop of Al-oud can leave one asking for more.
Al-oud also comes in a powder form whereby one has to burn it like an incense stick in a small charcoal stove and after adding a few drops of any oily perfume the fumes that turn up are so mindblowing.
This perfume is the most sought after in Africa as well as the Arabian penninsula and the one in the picture is especially for women . however, you can easily find one suitable for gents and once you purchase it you will know exactly what I mean.
You've got to try it to believe, how enhancing and beautiful this oily perfume is. It's bottle is totally Arabian, and unique as you can see and it looks so elegant and chic.
