The review you are about to read, is on an all time classic. Billy Joel is one of the main stays of the Music Industry. He was born in New York, in the Bronx no less in 1949. He is probably most famous for his rendition on "Uptown Girl", and this has of course been covered by many artists.
The name of this album is Piano Man, which is the title of a song he recorded in 1974, and this became his first top 20 single, and also his first Gold Album.
He has received so many accolades, there are too many to mention here. In 1982, this Piano Man thought his Piano playing was over, as he received serious injuries to his hands, this was in a Motorcycle accident. You can't keep a good Man down as they say, and the rest is history.
I have no idea of the cost of this Album, it was a very welcome gift.
You will receive an extra SR point if you get through this review, without "Uptown Girl" going through your head!
