Artemis Fowl : And The Atlantis Complex is the much awaited 7th book in the series which has taken off in both the UK and the USA. It was released on July 20, 2010 in the United Kingdom and on August 3, 2010 in North America. This book lives up to all expectations and precedes anything which could be wanted by the next book in the series which tells us of the amazing Adventures Artemis has being a mastermind, criminal and child working against and sometimes with his magical friends, which live far under the planet's crust and hide their existence from us with their advanced technology.

But this book adds a big twist to the world of Artemis and his criminal Activities. Artemis has gone mad! and not his normal criminal mastermind mad, the people call it the Atlantis complex, and it threatens to take the old Artemis who is needed by the people to defeat a plot against Artemis, his friends and against an underwater city of the people. without him many people could suffer.

This book is the penultimate book of the series and sets the stage perfectly for the finale of this great series. The Author has really worked hard to shape the plot and characters into things of pure perfection which you can really feel for, the characters are perfect and often have some witty banter and make jokes often to liven the mood, but are excellent at what they do and are able to do whatever is necessary to win the day.

The only problem with this book is that it finishes to early, this book is 47 pages shorter than the previous book but it makes up for its lack of length with its amazing plot, characters and stage setting for the penultimate book.

In conclusion this is a great book and all we can do now is wait for the finale book and pray that it is as good as this.
