For several years I used this plan myself and had no complaints, so when my husband and I went on the family plan with a contract my oldest son inherited my old phone and service.

It is perfect for someone starting out or who does not need major phone time. Also there is no contract or credit checks.

You have two options for making your monthly payments, you can have it taken out of your checking account or by credit card or debit card.

The plan my son has is 300 minutes anytime and 1000 nights and weekends. Nights start at 9 pm and end at 6 am, weekends start at 9 pm on Friday and end at 6 am on Monday.

Any phone that takes a SIMS card can be used on this plan, so you can purchase it outright at any place you chose. You activate the SIMS, which was $25.00.

It works just like any phone on a contract and you have all of the same options other than the mobile to mobile. Text is $.15 a piece, multi media is $.25 a piece. We have just signed him up for 200 text messages, sent or received for an additional $4.99 a month.

His plan cost $39.00 a month, (300 anytime, 1000 nights and weekends) plus the $4.99 for text ( 200 ) and tax, so for under $50.00 a month and no worry of him running up a huge bill because it has the limits then cuts off if he goes over. So he is really learning about moderation and money.

All in all, in my opinion, this is the perfect plan for a young person or someone who does not need a lot of phone time, although they do have different options.
