We had to replace our phones recently. One of the new phones is the AT&T Speakerphone. I bought this phone because a speakerphone frees up my hands so I can do other things, like work, while talking. This phone features:
---Large Tilt Display that lays flat or tilts forward so it can be read easily.
---Audio Assist which makes it easier to understand the other person
--- No electricity is needed (it does need 4 AA batteries to work the display- 7 months after purchase and the batteries still work)
--- 10 Number Speed Dial
--- Large Buttons
---Can lay on a table or can be hung on the wall
---Hearing Aid Compatible
--- It's black with light grey lettering and numbering
The AT&T telephone speakerphone is a nice corded phone. The large buttons make this phone easier to use for everyone. The large easy-to-read display is also a nice bonus.
I like this phone because I like having a phone that can be used during power outages. Cordless phones usually use electricity. If there is a power outage, this corded phone still works. The ringer is nice because it can be turned up or down so that you can hear it if you are in another room. The AT&T Speakerphone comes with a telephone line cord, a wall bracket for mounting it on the wall and a user's guide.
One improvement I would suggest to AT&T is to add an answering machine with this phone.
