After seeing dozens of ads on Aveeno product line, I finally decided to give one of the products a try. One day after searching around for beauty products, I came across Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser. I read the description on the back of bottle and what stood out the most is the promise for clear-looking and even skin tone plus leaving the skin oil and acne free. Let me first state that my skin is not full of acne or uneven, just a few blemishes here and there.

Without a second thought I bought the cleanser, even though I was forking out seven dollars for the bottle but of course to me, it will definitely worth the money--after all it will bring the clearest and almost perfect I ever wanted!

The same day I bought the bottle, I started a skin regime which I promise to myself to use the cleanser every 3-5 days for at least a month. After planning the regime, I was excited about trying it out and carefully read the instructions on how to use the cleanser. So I put a quarter size of the foam on my hand and lather it into my face. After a few minutes I'd rinsed the stuff out. I repeated this nightly and after a couple of weeks went by, no results. Did it refresh my skin? No. Did I felt any 'cleanliness' to my skin? No. Moisturize? No. The only outcome I got out of Aveeno's Cleanser was a sticky face every time I rinse the foam off. And I'm quite sure I rinsed my face well.

Despite the words that boldly read in front of the bottle 'clear complexion' the message surely did not deliver. I would not recommend this cleanser to anyone unless you like the feel of a foamy dried out skin. Unfortunately Aveeno's Foaming Cleanser is still collecting dust after a few years of never using it again.
