AVG is an anti-virus software that can be available for free, legally. The free edition however doesn't have some of the features that the purchased editions have. This doesn't mean that it's not worth your time because AVG free edition has some of the features that other anti-virus softwares that you do have to pay for don't have (i.e. McAfee, Norton, and the default Windows protection software). The ease of use that this software offers is very, well... Easy. The routine scans are very effective and useful as well. If you have anything that could potentially harm your system in any way it displays this threat(s) in the results and gives you the option to either delete, move to a vault (safe storage) or leave it alone. It also gives you the option of choosing either full system scan or partial scan (specific folders that you choose). The results of the scan appear as they are found and not all at the end of the scan. The best part about this software however as I've previously stated and that sets AVG Free Edition apart from other free softwares is that it lets you handle the problems found, it doesn't just tell you the problems. I recommend this software even if you have the available money to purchase other software.
